I dropped out of school in the ninth grade.

As if that wasn't enough to shake up and rattle the overall landscape of my young life, my bolting high school prematurely had eventually given way to a flurry of other issues, considering I wound up becoming a convicted felon amid what I describe as "all kinds of oppositions," not to mention what I referred to as a slew of "roadblocks, mountains, storms, disappointments, and letdowns."

Still, even in the wake of my assortments of obstacles — a host of problematic occurrences that would have caused some to throw in the towel —a rather dramatic sequence of events arose, and I was determined to defy the urge to quit.
​
How could that possibly be for a high school dropout whose decision to put my education by the wayside was supposed to disrupt my ability to succeed, reduce my effectiveness, and thus live and dwell on the larger side of God? Failure was not an option. I was determined to succeed.
​
I recalled vividly those days during which no one would hire me. It was understandable, considering I didn't possess a high school diploma behind my name. Still, just like God, he had other ideas.
​
"When no one wanted to hire me, I said I would start my own business and hire myself, so that's what I did." Much to my delight, I become the owner of not one, not two, but three businesses, a trend that has benefited me mightily throughout the years. A little more than two decades removed from having dropped out of school, it’s safe to assume that “proud” undoubtedly is the operative word, particularly as it pertains to recalling my unlikely success story, given that many would believe that although I was thriving as an entrepreneur, it meant for me to fail miserably.
​
Still, just like God, he had other ideas. I always have been independent since a youth. I never wanted a handout. Therefore, I sensed that the most logical remedy was to sell drugs as a good outlet to survive and make ends meet. I became a big-time drug dealer, who also started a record label entitled, ‘Rapid Fire Records 2 LLC.’”

ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME — Even after being released from prison at 22 years of age; I was not to be outdone. If nothing else, I was determined not to become so consumed with the dreaded street, a trend that could have generously sent me back to prison or perhaps to my grave too soon.
​
Even when I was on the streets at 22, I was always a boss, whether it was selling drugs or running my record label. I’ve always had that entrepreneurial spirit. To my credit, the only thing that has changed concerning exemplifying an “entrepreneur spirit” is that I am generating my income the old-fashioned way. I’m earning it.

Legally, mind you.
When the going got tough, the tough got going. My business venture caters to people of all ages. Now that I have God on my side, who gives the increase, nothing can stop me from accomplishing my goals. If I keep God first, I will achieve much more. It is only the beginning.

Unlike never before, I don’t shy away from the notion that my primary mission through my business ventures is to provide service to people, save souls, touch lives, and motivate, inspire, and empower others to live to their fullest potential. I was inspired to do all this by a man in prison. He told me that I needed to seek God if I wanted to be successful. Once I listened to this man who came from the same dark place I did, I went to church in prison as he told me to, and the rest was history.

By all accounts, I am walking in the divine purpose for which God created me because I heeded some excellent advice and counsel while behind bars.
